A Permanent Disabled Placard (Permit) is not actually permanent. It expires four years after the date it is issued. If needed, you may replace it without a doctor's note within the first year, otherwise you will need a new doctor's note in order to replace it.

A Temporary Disabled Placard (Permit) is valid for a maximum of six months.
